Tour Plan
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Sation (NJP) and transfer to Darjeeling (Approx Distance: 70 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs) (6,950 Ft.). On arrival check-in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast start for a full day excursion trip to Mirik (4,902 ft.), which is a small picturesque hill station with a beautiful lake surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The road runs through some fascinating tea gardens, and pine forests. Visit Sumendu Lake, which is famous for it being one of the best man-made lakes. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake site on direct payment basis. On the way back to Darjeeling return via Pasupati Market, which is situated in Indo-Nepal border (Extra vehicle charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pasupati Market on direct payment basis). Evening back to hotel.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (Subject to availability of token, if not possible at the time of Sunrise, then it will be covered in day time.) and then back to hotel.
After breakfast, starting at 8.30 AM, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (Note: Closed on 19th of Every Month), Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple(Peace Pagoda). Evening free for leisure.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Note: Darjeeling ropeway will be on direct payment basis. It has limited cabins (Approx. 8 and per cabin 4 persons can be accommodated), resulting in long queues due to high tourist volume. Be patient with potential delays. It could also impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities due to time constraints.
After breakfast, excursion to Kalimpong visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills and Flower Nursery (Sunday closed). Evening back to hotel.
Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
After breakfast Checkout from hotel and take, the departure transfers to New Jalpaiguri Station (NJP) for your onward journey.
